Common spiders that are frequently found in other parts of the country are also found in California. However, dangerous spiders and tarantulas are also present in this state. The Black Widow is the most common poisonous spider, while the Stripped Blond tarantula is the most common tarantula found in this state. They are usually found on the parts of Mojave Desert which borders Arizona. Other species of spiders and tarantulas found include the Desert Recluse spider and the Brown Recluse Spider.
These pests are usually common among pet owners. When pets stray for long hours outdoors, they most likely to become infected with fleas and ticks. Therefore it is important for pet owners to regularly inspect and clean their pets when they stray to avoid these pests. Fleas usually bite people and can cause allergies. On the other hand, ticks usually cause various diseases to humans including Lyme disease.
